Gary joined Teltherm’s laboratory team in April 2016. Born in the UK Gary in a former life used to race motorcycles before moving on to the Toyota Engine Division where he became responsible for calibration and quality assurance of the tools, Vernier’s, calipers and gauges used in the plant.
Following Toyota Gary moved to Satair where he was responsible for parts logistics for the 800XP Business Jet based at the Airbus A380 wing making plant.
After a stint at GJC doing the setup, test, repair and calibration of digital flow meters, he and partner Krissy decided to make a lifestyle change and move to New Zealand. On arrival in New Zealand Gary joined HTC Ltd. And was responsible for repair and calibration of industrial torque wrenches.
At Teltherm Gary is now an IANZ authorized signatory in temperature and also a valuable member of the pressure team. Outside of Teltherm though Gary is kept busy by his hobbies which include motorsport, rugby, photography, astronomy – and in his spare time he runs half marathons!
